propeller - our vision

The driving force behind Propeller stems from a passion to give something back to an industry that is notoriously difficult to break into and demands much of the individuals who work in it. There is no concession on quality however, ensuring that whilst young talent is fully supported, those behind the cameras are expected to make excellent programmes for the channel's viewers who have a rapidly growing appetite for original, good, entertaining television. Our vision is to create a channel that provides an original alternative to the current television diet, fuelled by repeats and makeover programmes.

Propeller is about giving an airing to the best new film and television talent that has attained a professional skills level and broadcast quality. We ensure that we support all our producers to work to OFCOM guidelines and always insist on protecting the intellectual property and commercial rights of the originators of the programming we show.
