How do Chinese people in the UK celebrate China's National Day?

This year’s National Day marks the 67th Anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China. The Yellow River Cantata performed by Chopstick Choral Society gave a very highbrow of the week-long celebration of the National Day. But what attracts us most is always the human interest stories behind the spectacular celebration, where Chinese people come to think about their deep connection with their motherland.

The organisers of the Chopsticks Choral Society are the Chopsticks Club-run by Theresa Booth & HJ Colston, a China-UK professional membership network whose Membership are 50% Chinese, 50% Westerners and Chopsticks Choral Society is also 50% Chinese & Western- with the aim of bringing the best of Chinese music to the UK.
